High-wage, high-demand program enrolling for Spring.

The high demand for construction jobs is expected to continue in our area well into future decades. Our Building Construction Technology program prepares students for employment or advanced training in the growing building construction industry.

This 1050 clock hour program provides applied learning that contributes to higher order reasoning and problem-solving skills, work attitudes, and occupation-specific skills needed to further education and careers in the Architecture & Construction career cluster. You can continue your education into our 2-Year AS Degree in Civil Engineering Technology or move into the workplace in various trades. We will be teaching the use of hand tools and power tools, math, and construction drawings in the building of floor systems, walls, ceilings and roofing, masonry skills, carpentry, cabinets, electrical, plumbing and heating/ventilation/air-conditioning. This comprehensive, multi-craft skills training will expose the student to all the steps in a building project, and allow them to make choices about which trade they most enjoy – even explaining the importance of entrepreneurship skills in the event they want to start their own business!

Don’t be left out of this dynamic opportunity to advance your career path within this growing, high-skill, high-wage industry!
